I'm sitting here watching the shadows from my apple cinnamon candle dance on the wall, watching Criminal Minds (a favorite show of mine), & glancing periodically from my computer screen to the atrocious mess on my bedroom floor. Okay, so it's not THAT bad but I really need to work on my organizational skills. A few months back, I spent the entire day going through every drawer, shelf, & crevice in my room throwing out anything and everything that I didn't use or have a use for. The clutter that I successfully got rid of, has successfully returned again. How does one acquire so much "junk"? I have got to take care of this problem asap since I will be moving at the end of this year (YAY!) & actually living with my husband. (He deployed only 2 months after we got married & wanted me to be surrounded by family & friends during our first deployment). I've been doing a fair amount of research on different ways to organize & looking for functional storage ideas via pinterest. *That site is my crack*. I'd LOVE to incorporate mass organization into our new home. I'm such a contradiction. My room does not reflect my love for clutter free living spaces (or cleanliness for right now lol). Clean, simple, organized, yet comfy rooms make me giddy. I stalked pinterest today for some inspiration. Brace yourself for the awesomeness:

I LOVE open shelving in kitchens. I feel like "cabinets" are becoming a little outdated.
EEEEEeeeeek!!! I can barely contain my excitement over this gorgeous room, gorgeous color scheme, and the monogrammed "B" pillow. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
That pastel sky blue walls & dark hardwood flooring is to die for!
oh. my. stars. The built in shelves, beautiful mantle, flat screen above the fireplace = me.
